Plumbing, Insulation, Cabling in...

Have had a busy few days & nights putting in all the cabling (Computer, TV, Security, Speaker, Intercom) in. Plumbing has also been completed inside as well as the external wall insulation. I went through and put my own wall insulation in the bedrooms & Home theater and added extra noggins for mounting TVs later on. Ready for Bricking & Plastering now, but Christmas may beat them!

Bricks have arrived & more

Bricks were delivered this week & the plasterboard awaiting to be put up. Our heating/cooling units & ducts have also gone in. Bath is in its place. Wall insulation to go in next week before Christmas. Electricians to go in Today hopefully before I Pre-wire the whole house with Data, TV, Security cables. Should be a full on weekend.

Wrapped up!

Tiles finished, but rain continues...

Tiles were finished on 7th Dec, hopefully the house gets wrapped up now. There has been more rain so there won't be much else done this week.

We have a Tiled Roof!

Went to the site today and found the tiles being put on, almost complete. Happy with how the gutters and facias look too. We didn't want dark gutters or Facia as the tiles are black (to match the window frames). Wish this wet weather we are having would go away. Would like the bricks finished before Christmas, as it is summer after all! We are going there tomorrow (Sat) to have a proper look.

Window frames in, gutters next!

Went to the block today to find the all the window frames in. It is very wet & more rain to come in the next few days. Gutters & the fascias were also ready to put up. Took plenty of photos.

More Action, but here comes the rain....

Went to the block again (a little obsessed) on the 23rd to have a look and found that the window/sliding doors frames have been delivered. More roof trusses have been added. Went again late on the 24th but the frames weren't installed yet (got my hopes up) although they had completed more work on the roof trusses & had the portico frame up. It is expected to be wet over the next week, so not expecting too much to happen.

Went Down late yesterday (22nd Nov) to find they have started the roof trusses

 (poor quality mobile phone pictures)
